Potted Plants
Pots of wildflowers or herbs will be delivered to you in basic
black, square, plastic pots, in a 7cm pot size (9cm is also possible
if necessary). You can then place the pots into a nicer pot, such
as metal or terracotta, or decorate them. We supply metal galvanised
bucket pots but these are priced in addition to the price of the
plant. Choice of plant is limited by availability but we do grow
to order – in fact, most of our plant favours are grown to
order.
Please bear in mind that we need a few months’ notice in order
to be able to supply plant favours (unless we happen to have enough
in stock of what you are after).
Wildflowers tend not to flower that easily in these small pots
so if you want flowering plants then you will do better having annuals,
such as Pansies, Nemesias, Marigolds, Poached Eggs, Geraniums etc.
(although Wild Pansies are quite obliging, as are Forget-me-nots,
and usually flower well). Please bear in mind that time of year
is also important if you want flowering plants.
If you are not too fussed about flowers but like pretty foliage,
then herbs or heathers are probably best.
